Electronic Arts (EA) Brand Refresh

Project Team
Associate Creative Director: Jenna Klein
Lead Program Manager: Abbey Heller
Agency Partner: Instrument

Project Description
For decades, EA has been known as a game publisher. Now, they’re stepping into something bigger—something multi-dimensional: immersive, connected, live. This isn’t just a shift; it’s a calling. Entertainment has always been EA’s foundation, but today, it’s about unlocking new potential—pushing past expectations toward what’s possible.

EA’s brand has evolved alongside this vision. The iconic shapes we know and love reveal new sides, transforming into portals for creativity, connection, and untold stories. Color radiates with depth like living energy, type stacks and moves dynamically, and layouts break free from rigid grids—mirroring the boundless experiences EA invites their audience into.

This isn’t just a step forward. It’s a whole new dimension.

A System Built to Scale

To make the brand as usable as it is expressive, we partnered with Instrument to build custom tools that empowered teams across EA to move faster and stay on-brand. From auto-cropping IP imagery into brand shapes to generating custom logos, color styles, and generative motion systems, each tool simplified execution without sacrificing craft.
